“sabda-brahmani nisnato na nisnayat pare yadi sramas tasyasrama-phalo hy adhenum iva raksatah” - Shrimad
“śabda-brahmaṇi niṣṇāto na niṣṇāyāt pare
yadi śramas tasyaśrama-phalo hy adhenum iva rakṣataḥ”

One may be well versed in all the transcendental literature of the
Vedas, but if one fails to fix one’s mind on the God, then it must be
concluded that all of his education is like the burden of a beast or
like one’s keeping a cow without milking capacity.
यदि कोई वेदों का सारा ज्ञान याद भी कर ले, लेकिन यदि वो अपना मन
निरन्तर भगवान में ना लगा पाये, तो उसका ज्ञान उसके लिए उस बोझ की
तरह है जैसे वो गाय को तो पाले परन्तु वो गाय दूध न देती हो |
