Madan Ter, Vrindavan - Divine Pastimes.

In a beautiful garden located at this place, Shri Krishna was once enjoying pastimes with Radharani and Gopis when it is said that Kamadeva (Cupid), who is also known as Madana, arrived there with the intention of firing his arrow of attraction at Krishna. But upon seeing Krishna, he became so attracted by His transcendental beauty, that he became completely bewildered and fell unconscious on the ground.

Hit Harivansh Mahaprabhu, Rasik Saint of Vrindavan came to Vrindavan with Radha Vallabh Lalji in the Year 1506 establishing the deity’s Karttik. This took place at Madan Tera (Varaha Ghat) in old Vrindavan. Hit Harivansh Mahaprabhu also performed his divine pastimes here.

Location:

Madan Ter is located on the Parikrama Marg on right-hand side ahead of Varaha Ghat and approximately 1 km behind Kaliya Ghat in Vrindavan.
