"Nita sewa mangoon shyama shyam teri, Na bhukti naheen miukti mangoon mei.
Barhai bhakti nishkam nita meri, Na bhukti naheen mukti magoon mei.”
O Shyama and Shyam! I desire neither ‘bhukti’ (material pleasures ranging from those of this world to the abode of Brahma), nor ‘mukti’ (liberation). My only desire is to increase my unselfish devotion for You.
"Tohin patit janan hee pyare hein, hama agan'ita paapan vare hein,
Puni kata kara etik beri, na bhukti naheea mukti mangoon mei."
You love sinners, and I have committed unlimited sins. Then why such a delay?
"Yadi kaha una laee sahranaee re, Kahu kata pootna gati paee re,
aba bera na karu karu cheri, na bhukti naheen mukti magoon mei."
If You say that You accept the sinners only after they surrender themselves to You, then can You explain how did You deliver wicked Pootana? Hence, do not delay matters any further and make me Your servant.
"Yaha bhalee hei buree hai jo hei teri hei, Tum bhee socho sachamuch yaha meri hei,
sochat he baina jaae meri, na bhukti naheeen mukti maivgoon mei."
It does not really matter whether I am good or bad since I am yours. Rather You should also think "She is really My own". The moment You will start thinking this way, everything will be perfect for ever in my life.
"Binu hetu Kripalu kahaate ho, Puni kyon sadhan karavate ho,
Sunu vinaya "kripalu" ju meri, na bhukti naheen mukti mangoon mei."
An epithet of `Causeless merciful' is conferred upon You. Then why do You expect from me practice of devotion? 0 merciful Lord! Listen to the plea of this Kripalu. I desire neither bhukti nor mukti.
